We stock a small but carefully-chosen range of instruments, new and reconditioned, which you can try out here in our showroom. We stock recent, high-quality reconditioned instruments by manafacturers such as Yamaha and Kawai, and also older instruments of character - but all acoustic pianos come with a full 5-year guarantee. For people who need the convenience and practicality of a digital piano, but a serious piano sound and action, we are an authorised dealer in Yamaha Clavinova® digital pianos. As well as selling pianos, we offer a range of piano-related services - transport, hire and storage. Our tuning is carried out by Ross and Metcalfe Tuning, who have been tuning in the area for decades. They can be contacted on 01434 632245, or you can contact them via email.
We stock around 3,500 current titles (and a lot of old stuff as well!) making us one of the biggest retailiers of sheet music in the area. We specialise in educational material, for both schools and private teachers, and of course keep the full range of exam books - we do our best to ensure we've got all instuments and grades covered at all times, including ABRSM alternative pieces. And if we haven't got it immediately in stock, we order direct from major publishers and distributors, with music typically arriving in a couple of working days.

We have a modest but comprehensive selection of instruments - orchestral, guitars, recorders, bowed strings, and folk instruments. We specialise in instruments for beginners up to grade 8 and beyond, and aim to stock high-quality makes and models recommended by local teachers. If we haven't got the instrument you're after, and can't source it for you, we can point you in the direction of a specialist who can help.
