We normally keep about a dozen or so pianos in our showroom and annexe and try and keep a good cross-section of instruments for all levels of ability, interests and budgets. Our pianos come with a full guarantee (normally 5 years), local delivery and first tuning included in the price. We don't list each instrument in the website (it's too much of a pain to update!) but you should get the idea of what we do from the descriptions below. If there's anything specific you're after, do give us a ring.

Our shop is open from 10-5 Monday to Saturday - other times by appointment. We're tucked away in a quiet location in the picturesque village of Corbridge, which is worth a visit in its own right. You're welcome to come and play away to your heart's content (or get us to demonstrate if you're too self-conscious!)

Our most popular instruments are reconditioned Yamaha and Kawai models. These are A-grade (domestic use only) instruments, meticulously restored to an as-new condition, and highly regarded by teachers and serious learners. Prices depend on age and model, but as a guide expect to pay £3,000 or thereabouts.

Many people want an older piano with musical and visual character. We usually have small a number of models by the better-known traditional manufacturers, carefully overhauled and regulated. Prices vary by maker, age and condition - but you should expect to pay between £1-3k for a good early 20th-century upright.

The British piano industry is sadly no more, but it's still possible to buy a good genuine British-made compact upright piano for between £800 and £1500. These instruments are robust, well-engineered, pleasant to play and listen to, and ideal for people with children moving up the grades.

If you want a piano in the house but you don't want to spend too much because you don't trust your daughter, son, husband to stick with their lessons, we generally have a number of starter pianos in the £200-£500 range. If you need to upgrade later, we'll of course take it back in part-exchange.

We currenly supply digitals and keyboards by Casio and Yamaha. We're revising and expanding our digital range, so if there's a specific model you're looking for please get in touch. Our prices are very competitive, yet come with a personal service you won't get buying blind over the internet.
